1. Scope of application

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the purchase of products through the website www.lunardellivenezia.net. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms.

2. Products

Lunardelli Venezia products are born from the interplay between Venetian artisan tradition and contemporary design. The range includes objects crafted from briccola wood — the oak poles that for decades have guided navigation through Venice’s canals — and other selected materials, as indicated in each individual product description. Since every piece is handcrafted, slight variations in grain, colour, texture, and finish may exist compared to the images on the website. Such variations are an intrinsic part of the artisanal value of the product and do not constitute a defect.

3. Prices

All prices on the website are in Euros and exclude VAT. Applicable VAT will be calculated and shown separately at checkout, in accordance with the regulations of the destination country. Shipping costs are also excluded from the product price and are shown separately at checkout. Lunardelli Est. 1967 S.r.l. reserves the right to modify prices at any time; the price applicable to the customer will be the one in effect at the time the order is placed.

4. Order and confirmation

An order is considered finalised upon the customer’s receipt of a confirmation email from Lunardelli Est. 1967 S.r.l. We reserve the right to decline orders in the event of product unavailability or errors in the published price.

5. Payment

Payments are processed securely via Nexi (credit/debit card), PayPal, and bank transfer. For bank transfer payments, please use the following details:

Lunardelli Est. 1967 S.r.l. does not handle or store customers’ card payment data: all card transactions are processed on the encrypted servers of the respective providers. For orders paid by bank transfer, shipment will take place upon receipt of payment.

6. Shipping

We ship worldwide. Delivery times and costs vary by destination and are available on the Shipping page. Once an order has been dispatched, the customer will receive an email with a tracking number. Indicated delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed; Lunardelli Est. 1967 S.r.l. is not responsible for delays caused by the courier or customs.

For shipments outside the EU, customs duties or local taxes may apply, payable by the recipient in accordance with the regulations of the destination country.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and applicable national law, consumers have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, except in the case of:

  • goods made to measure or clearly personalised;
  • goods which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate rapidly.

Since Lunardelli Venezia products are handcrafted from unique, non-reproducible material, the right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases of products with personalised characteristics (engraving, gilding, custom finish).

For standard catalogue products without personalisation, the customer may exercise the right of withdrawal by sending written notice to info@lunardellivenezia.net within 14 days of delivery. The product must be returned intact, in its original packaging, at the customer’s expense. The refund will be issued using the same payment method as the original purchase, within 14 days of receipt of the returned item.

8. Warranty and defective products

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years in accordance with EU regulations. In the event of a defective or damaged product, the customer must send a report to info@lunardellivenezia.net within 7 days of receipt, including photographs of the defect and the packaging. Once the report has been received, we will provide instructions for returning the product. Upon receipt and inspection of the return, we will dispatch a replacement. If the product is no longer available, a full refund will be issued. Return shipping costs for defective products are borne by Lunardelli Est. 1967 S.r.l.

Natural variations in grain, colour, texture, and finish typical of handcrafted production do not constitute a defect (see art. 2).

9. Liability

Lunardelli Est. 1967 S.r.l. is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, or damages resulting from improper use of the products. Maximum liability is limited to the value of the purchased product.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Italian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Venice, without prejudice to the consumer’s rights under EU alternative dispute resolution regulations (ODR — https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).
